For some reason my two blog entries on the beginning of our trip were lost in cyberspace somewhere between Picasa and Blogger. So here we go again.
Last Thursday we left at noon and stopped halfway, which works out to be right up the road from my alma mater, Messiah College. When we arrived, a men's soccer game was going on, so we wandered over and watched a good part of it. The Falcons are undefeated this year and it looks like they may repeat the last two years' Division III national championship performances.

When we arrived, a men's soccer game was going on, so we wandered over and watched a good part of it. The Falcons are undefeated this year and it looks like they may repeat the last two years' Division III national championship performances.
They won this game against Susquehanna, 5-0.
In between the raindrops the next day, we saw some lovely foliage.
And when the clouds finally parted somewhere north of Waterbury, CT, a rainbow smiled on us for a few miles. 
Now I understand what Andrew was talking about in nursery this morning. He kept saying something about "Mommy's soccer game" and we couldn't figure out what he meant. Now I know. So glad you had such a full and fun trip.
